1.8km swim
Nothing much to report except that I vastly expanded my swimming distance today, nearly doubling Saturday's effort. Felt good! Hoping to do 3km on Saturday morning.
Also legs felt slightly stiff from the last two days shenanigans but today's swim was a good recovery and tomorrow is a total rest day - very positive.

gee - sorry it's taken me a while to catch up with the blog - and so much has been happening! There's some great totals there Owen - particularly with your efforts over the weekend!
Great idea to do the run after the ride. I generally do it the other way around, but they don't call me a blouse for nothing. It's great training to get your legs moving when they're tired after a big ride.
As for the bricks, there are many people who combine long rides and long runs. There are others who recommend only 1 of the 2 discplines being the long one. I actually try a bit of both, and not really sure which one provides the best advantage!
More importantly, it's great that you've found training to be a focus at the moment. I've found training to often be the cure to all of life's great problems mate - that or a surf anyway :) Keep it up Owen. When you've nailed that descent at Noosa and left everyone in your dust on the 10k run it'll be all worthwhile.
Hey O. I don't have anything intelligent to say, fortunately Miners does! Just wanted to leave a comment to let you know that the Kinder Surprises are checking up on you and sending you hugs and encouragement at this time. Blame your mother. ;-)
