It's been a while
Observant bloggers will probably noticed I haven't posted in a while...
Everything was going swell after Moolooloolaba for about a week until I started to get some pain in my right hip. The fortnight following that was pretty on and off and to cut a long story short, I had it confirmed yesterday that I have a stressie in my right femoral neck.
I'm pretty disappointed because it means I'll be missing out on GC, warwick (and have just missed Brisbane), which pretty much cuts out my 07 running season...
I should be able to run again in about seven weeks. My focus until then will be swimming, which (in a bizarre type of silver lining) should mean that I have a bitchin' swim leg on me by next Summer and the HIMs...
I'm still going to GC to cheer and looking forward to it!
Will hopefully post some of swimming progress over the next month as well...
Peace out,
O

A stressie - oh no :-(
No doubt you will do everything the physio tells you and be back in action soon.
Are you allowed to cycle? Or water run?
sorry to hear of the stressy O. It's the ultimate running accessory this year, however I think by next season it will be out of fashion. Look after that leg mate.
agree with Tess...if you need one of those embarrasing water running belts i'd be happy to lend you mine. subject to physio approvla of course, it would be good to comine before or after your swim session to keep in touch on the running side.
thansk for the cheering at BMF Owen - was great to have a familiar face and the support coming into that home run over the bridge. see you soon, take care
sorry to hear that mate.
